Happy New Year from the PTO

The PTO board would like to wish the entire MCS community a very Happy New Year!! We hope 2020 brings you peace, love, health, and happiness!

Christmas Festival Recap

As you have heard, the Christmas Festival is one of the school’s biggest fundraisers. We are happy to report that the festival made just over $10,000 this year. We will be looking to invest this in some of the ideas you have been hearing about, namely playground enhancements and additional security initiatives.
The PTO board would like to thank all of our volunteers who helped to set up and clean up, run stations and everything in between. In particular, Michelle Main (1st grade parent) deserves a big round of applause as 1st year chair for doing a fantastic job. Her main crew of Audrey Scott, Cassie Barbato, Anna Selwyn, Steve McLaughlin, Rayleen LaRue, the Borkes and Kristen DiSanto were absolute rockstars (as usual). A special thanks to Kari Catero for organizing the book fair once again and to the front office and Mr. Z. for supporting the entire event. Apologies if anyone was omitted; we can’t do it without help from everyone!
If you have any specific thoughts or suggestions for next year, please email the PTO !
If you placed a Christmas Festival sign, please return it to the school for reuse.
