COLOR RUN INFO
COLOR RUN!
Sunday, May 7th
12pm Registration | 1pm run start
The Color Run is happening this Sunday at MCS!
A few bits of info to keep things running smoothly:
- Parking for the ENTIRE event is at Shaw’s just down the hill from the school. Please park there and walk up (there will be a police presence) as the majority of the school will be blocked off for the run (safety first). If there are accessibility concerns, please let us know. There is an option to drop off in the front of the school, then park at Shaw’s.
- The registration table will be set up near the MCS gym entrance and will open at noon. Please head to the registration table first! This is where students who fundraised will get all the goodies they qualified for during fundraising!
- Grilled lunch (burger, dogs, veggie burgers) and healthy snack options (trail mix bars and strawberry banana pops) will be available for purchase ($3-5) near the run start. We can take cash or card.
- ALSO – the Kona Ice truck will be on site selling their amazing flavored shaved ice cups …and they’re generously donating 15% of all proceeds back to the school! ($5-7)
- The run start will kick off with a giant COLOR TOSS at the back of the school (near the Ga-Ga pit) at 1pm!
COLOR RUN SHIRTS:
- The requirement to earn a Color Run shirt for students was $30 in fundraising. Each child who raised $30 will have their shirt/size reserved at check-in.
- For all other students, we have made an attempt to get a Color Run shirt but sizing cannot be guaranteed. Thank you for understanding.
- For all non-students participants – if you ordered your shirt through constant contact and paid the $10 fee, we also have your shirt/size reserved.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
- 12pm – registration opens! Food (including flavored ice) is offered for purchase! Music is blasting!
- 1pm – the Color Run (1/2 mile loop) officially starts. Don’t be late!
- 4pm – event ends and the clean up crew comes in
There’s still time to sign up to help volunteer at the color run (grandparents are very welcome too).
We could especially use some color throwers – what a fun job!
