Student Council
The purpose of Student Council is to provide leadership, and to serve the student body, the school, and the community. Student Council at MCS is the students’ voice in our school. The Council organizes middle school dances, pep rallies and other community building activities.
National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society is one of the oldest and most respected student recognition organizations in the United States. Membership in NJHS distinguishes students who have committed themselves to the pursuit of academic excellence, community improvement, and personal development.
Green Team
The Green Team is an interactive educational program that empowers students and teachers to help the environment through waste reduction, recycling, composting, energy conservation and pollution prevention.
Drama
Monsignor Clarke School offers its students several after school drama activities in the fall and spring, and full day camps during the school vacation and summer breaks. MCS Drama has many opportunities for all grades to learn and grow through theatrical plays, full-scale musicals, drama workshops, glee club, and more.
Lego Robotics
Students in grades 2 through 8 learn technology, engineering and team building skills. Projects promote creativity and fun while inspiring students to explore future technology careers.
Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run™ is a physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
In addition to these activities, students may also benefit from participating in chorus, after-school art classes and karate.
