MCS is a Catholic diocesan school with families from many parishes throughout southern RI. Each day begins and ends with prayer. Mass is celebrated monthly by priests from our surrounding parishes.
While the majority of MCS students are Catholic, families of all faiths are welcome and are represented at the school. Non-Catholic students participate in religious life of the school community, including classes and attendance at liturgies. We have found it to be true that families of all faiths who choose Msgr. Clarke School are looking for a school experience that includes the developing a good moral background, making ethical choices, and respecting the dignity of every individual. These core values are instilled in each child at MCS.
Community service is an important component of student life at MCS. Students live their faith by participating in school wide and community projects to benefit those less fortunate. These programs build empathy, compassion, character, and leadership.
Please note: MCS is not a parish school, therefore, during a sacrament year, children must attend CCD classes at their own parish.
