Welcome Back to School!

Hello Parents and Caregivers!

The PTO would like to give you a warm welcome back to school. We have a lot of exciting things coming up and want to make sure you are all “in the know.”

We will have a table at the Back to School Night on Tuesday September 11 so make sure to stop by!

You all should be receiving a packet from your child(ren) about SchoolStore. Before it gets tossed into the recycle bin or the junk drawer (or the “I will deal with it later” pile), hear us out. This is a low-pressure fundraising campaign that really does earn money for the school, which will ultimately help our kids. There are a couple ways for you and family and friends to make money for MCS. You start by entering 3 email addresses. Just by doing that, even if you don’t buy anything or use the site, the school will earn money. After you sign up, you can purchase gift cards for teachers, magazines, cookbooks, etc. If that is not your thing, no worries, there is one more way for MCS to earn money. All you have to do is shop online at retailers like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Old Navy (and a lot more!) through the school store. MCS will get a percentage of the sale (with no additional cost to you).

So, if these aren’t reasons enough I will add the cherry on top — the kids can earn prizes and chances to win stuff!

We want to thank everyone who participated in our first school event, the Back to School Ice Cream Social. It sure was a hot day, but a little Brickley’s Ice Cream helped cool things down.
